At Cranbourne Secondary College we provide a dynamic learning environment that stresses the importance of community and relationships. We strongly believe in the provision of a positive environment with high expectations. We encourage excellence through academic and experienced based learning and we aim to provide our students with a broad array of academic and personal skills with which to launch into adult life with confidence and optimism.
Our purpose is to provide a challenging and stimulating learning environment where students work independently and interdependently and take responsibility for their own learning. We also provide individual career pathways and the literacy and numeracy skills and attitudes necessary to live, work and participate positively in both the local and broader community and the technologically driven global community. Our school's expectations for students, staff and parents are based on our values: Pride, Respect, Integrity, Commitment and Enthusiasm. We believe these values underpin success in all we do in life and learning. The school reinforces these values through its Pastoral Care Program in Years 7 and 8 and 9. Students in Years 10 -12 have access to a diverse range of programs and pathways including VCE, VET and VCAL.
